Girl with Giraffe / Occy's poem

This is a picture I took of a sculpture/work of art I fell in love with the moment I saw it. It's a girl with a dying giraffe, in a cage which you can walk round. I liked this angle best. It can be found in Maastricht, the Netherlands in one of the many parks there. Google on.
The reason for choosing this poetic picture is because I still owe the winner of our 'guess what piece of rubbish... competition' a poem. And because the geezer is very anxious and excited about it: here it is.
It is in Dutch because that is the way it came out of my brain. I know you understand. Here's to you Occy. Enjoy.

Ach arme onbelezene, laat mij u vernederen
Omdat gij niet weet, te lezen,
(zee = vee)
U nooit eens laat vertederen
Verleiden tot het lezen

Zodus...

Zult gij altijd
een mistroostig wezen wezen

Met de scherpte van een scheermes
Maak ik u kapot
Snijd ik door uw warme ad’ren
En begin daarna te blaad’ren
In een zoveelste geschreven leven
Over zweven, nichten, neven,
Pintjes drinken,
Overgeven,
Revolutieën beleven,
Concubines, wentelteven,
...

De pen, het zwaard, onbelezen nikske waard
Waarom wurg ik u, leesdove man?

Omdat ik kan.

Zeer mooie foto, Zim, had eerst niet door dat het een beeld was. Ook een mooi gedicht. Nu nog wachten op Occy zijn reactie.

I'm not even going to try and translate that online, I fear how badly your writing will be mangled.

That's putting it very politely, you probably fear how bad my writing IS. You aren't missing out on anything, I can tell you that. :D

Too much praise man
Don't make me feel too good, I might marry you.
Glad you like it.
The picture's background I blurred in photoshop because I felt it was too distracting otherwise. Also kinda like it.

Ooo, oo, oo, can I come to the wedding? I can play a mean wedding hymn on my organ!

Too bad, already married. Y'all have to wait for the divorce first! Meanwhile, I tried my fingers on translating the above poem, go see on my blog and feel free to suggest improvements.

Nice poetic feel...

So Lebbercherrie, are your pubic hairs that stretched out you can play the guitar on them?

Waauw Occy, feel praised and lucky!
Of course you deserved the poem.

Eh, Lady Booty, I don't know about you, but I was thinking of an instrument with pedals and windpipes and so huge they have to build a church around it,...
